You will never be forgotten Marissa

A manhunt is underway after 18-year-old Marissa DiNapoli’s body was found in a decomposed state under a bridge near Anderson Lake County Park, days after she went missing on June 29. Her last known contact was a text to family saying she’d be staying with a friend.

Surveillance footage shows Marissa leaving a house with her 21-year-old boyfriend, Martin Mendoza — now a person of interest — on June 29. He later returned alone in her car. Audio reportedly captured Mendoza confronting her about texting her ex. Authorities confirmed the remains as Marissa’s on July 3.

Loved ones are devastated, demanding justice and urging Mendoza to come forward. Friends said Marissa had expressed fear of Mendoza, calling him “obsessed.” He has not responded to police and may be driving a white Toyota Camry (plates CW87W00 or 9PTM351).
