Beloved ’60s heartthrob Bobby Sherman

’60s Teen Idol Bobby Sherman Diagnosed With Stage 4 Cancer

Bobby Sherman, the pop star and actor who stole hearts in the 1960s with hits like “Little Woman,” has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer, according to his wife, Brigitte Poublon. Now 81, Sherman is receiving care at home and has stopped public appearances.

Brigitte shared the news in March and later revealed the cancer had spread throughout his body. “His body’s not working anymore,” she said. “He just wants to be home with his family and dogs.” Sherman, once a chart-topping singer and TV star, spent much of his later life focused on service.
