Fox News Host Will Cain Takes Wife and 2 Sons Back to Hometown Texas

Fox News host Will Cain has officially said goodbye to New York, moving his wife Kathleen and their two sons back to his home state of Texas—and he brought viewers along for the emotional journey. During a special broadcast of Fox & Friends Weekend, Cain appeared from his new Texas home, blending political commentary with heartfelt reflections. “New York gave me opportunities and friendships,” he said. “But Texas is where I was raised—and where I want my boys to know what wide skies and open land feel like.”

Cain recalled the night he broke the news to his family around their Manhattan kitchen table. His sons asked about their favorite pizza spot and whether their dog would have more room to run. But it was Kathleen’s quiet response that stayed with him: “I knew this day would come. I want our kids to grow up with dirt under their shoes, not just pavement.”

Broadcasting from Texas, Cain held up a photo of his childhood home in Sherman and said, “I never thought I’d be lucky enough to bring my kids back here. Life really does come full circle.” Fans flooded social media with praise for his honesty and warmth. “You can see how happy he is—it’s contagious,” one viewer wrote.

As he closed the segment, Cain looked toward the camera with a grin. “Boys,” he said, “this is home now. Let’s make memories you’ll never forget.” It wasn’t just a move—it was a homecoming.
